Our Speaker
Franklyn Spence is an ordained 5-fold minister, author, and co-founder of Forerunner Ministries, a teaching ministry dedicated to elevating the quality of the prophetic and intercession in the global church. Forerunner Ministries was launched in Canada in 2004, and it has officially been part of the Catch the Fire (CTF) network since 2020, equipping believers to grow in their spiritual gifts and deepen their relationship with Jesus.
Known for his close and intimate walk with Jesus, Franklyn regularly shares spiritual encounters through his speaking engagements, writings, and online presence. His testimonies have profoundly impacted listeners, inspiring them to experience a deeper connection with God and to walk boldly in their faith.
Franklyn is the author of Breakthrough to a Supernatural Life. Keys to Hearing God’s Voice and Point of the Spear. The Essential Guide to Prophetic Intercession and Spiritual Warfare.
Franklyn's ministry journey is rooted in hands-on service. Early in his career, he worked as an inner-city missionary with homeless street youth in Toronto and planted house churches, laying a foundation for his passion for nurturing spiritual communities. He is currently serving as the co-lead for CTF’s Western European region and was the Prophetic and Intercession leader for CTF’s Leaders Alliance.
Franklyn is also an accomplished artist and craftsman. With a degree in sculpture from the Ontario College of Art & Design (Toronto, Canada), he has pursued a wide range of visual arts, exhibiting his work internationally. His creative pursuits reflect his belief in the transformative power of creativity as an expression of God’s nature. Through his teaching, writing, and artistic endeavors, Franklyn continues to inspire and equip believers to live in the fullness of God’s love and purpose.
Franklyn has been married to Amy Brice for over 30 years and they have two beautiful daughters, Claire & Alice.
